Galentines and Valentines Day are this week, so I thought I would throw together four styling ideas for either day. Whether you want to celebrate with a night out or keep it low-key at home, I’ve got you covered!
Night Out
For those of you that can manage to stay awake past 9 PM, have a fun night out filled with drinks and dancing. I’ve been out of the game for quite some time, so I don’t have any recommendations on where to go, but I like grabbing drinks at The Golden Bear (try their Elvis Pres!) You can head over for a late night sweet treat at Rick’s Dessert Diner until 1 AM on the weekends!
Dinner and Movie

Grab your girlfriends or your significant other and check out a fun movie. I love a good cheesy romantic comedy. You know, those movies that are so predictable and corny but you can’t help but love?
Girls Night In / Netflix and Chill

Why go out when you can stay in the comfort of your own home with a bottle of wine, food, and a movie? (A John Hughes 80s movie binge sounds so fun!) There’s no need to get glammed up when you have a cute pullover and some joggers. Other ideas: Take a quick bike ride to your local coffee shop or embark on a baking project if you are home with the kiddos. These cookies would be perfect!
Brunch / Wine Bar

Spend the first half of the day guzzling mimosas with your gals, or have some wine with your special someone at a romantic wine bar. Some of my favorite wine bars are The Rind and House of Oliver, and I love having brunch at Sienna and Cafeteria.
